I’m Shreshth, I just finished an integrated Master’s in Physics (Natural Sciences) at Cambridge. I have previously done research in computational physics and materials science: ab initio material property prediction with the Bernardi Group at Caltech, and my thesis with Dr. Alpha Lee was on using ML for predicting products from materials synthesis procedures. I find the interplay between physics and ML interesting - incorporating physical principles/methods into models, and applying ML for scientific progress.

I’m aiming to expand on my self-taught knowledge, and explore wider areas in ML (theory and applications) to gain a more holistic perspective through this Master’s, and hope to apply ML in high-impact areas in my career.
