Welcome, Jackie Kay

Today, we are happy to welcome Jackie Kay in our group. Jackie will start as a PhD student, working at the intersection of robotics and machine learning. Jackie joins the SML group after six years of professional experience in the robotics industry. Jackie completed their undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, USA. Jackie has worked on open source robotics middleware and autonomous food delivery, and is currently a research engineer at DeepMind while concurrently pursuing a PhD at UCL. Their research interests include transfer learning and data efficient methods for robotic manipulation.
