Today, Mihaela successfully defended her PhD and passed her viva. Mihaela’s PhD research centered around optimization in deep learning. Her work featured at JMLR, TMLR, NeurIPS, and ICML. Mihaela’s examiners were Ferenc Huszar and Patrick Rebeschini.
